Heartless
Shuttered Emotions
“There are wounds that never show on the body that are deeper and more hurtful than anything that bleeds.”― Laurell K. Hamilton, Mistral’s Kiss
No emotions I can smell.
No words can speak my pain.
No help can fill the emptiness
in heart that bleeds my pain,
I’m in the floating
and fading away in the seas
of the unending cyclones
of past bond we had,
Suffocating in the bleed,
of the discomfort of the moment
in face of smile, eyes carry
burden of the timeless
moments we spent together.
You told me you love my heart
but you can’t accept the dullnes
of the past on it , no love on lips
you promise you will stay.
But you leave me halfway apart.
Deep down in the corrosion
of the storm of the fragile
silences spills into fragmented
part of the broken knots.
Frozen in the moments
raining down tears
of the soul , into the depth
Beautiful images
of the book we couldn’t
created & left unfinished.
